NEDERLAND, Texas — Nederland Police have confirmed to 12News that they are investigating a teacher after a complaint was filed.
Assistant Police Chief Andy Arnold told 12News that the teacher works at Nederland High School.
Nederland Independent School District filed the complaint.
The police recieved the information on Tuesday, August 20.
Arnold said the investigation into the allegations is preliminary right now and no details of the investigation are available at this time.
12News reached out to Nederland ISD Superintendent Dr. Stuart Kieschnick. He said, "I do have an active investigation ongoing on a personnel issue. I can't go into further details because it's a personnel issue."
