JEFFERSON COUNTY, Texas — A woman has died from her injuries and other people have been injured after a boat hit a bridge on the North Fork of Taylor Bayou.
Jefferson County Game Wardens and other emergency responders responded to the single boat accident that left a woman dead and two others critically injured, according to a release from Texas Game Warden Captain Ryan Hall.
A 48-year-old man was driving the boat carrying five passengers when it struck the Boondocks Road bridge.
The driver and a male passenger remain in the hospital in serious condition.
Four people were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital, according to Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Justin Chesson.
Chesson tells 12News that one of those four was administered CPR.
Texas Game Wardens will continue the investigation.
