Vidor, Evadale Fire battling 3 alarm house fire in Vidor

The fire was initially put out, then burst out into flames for a second time Tuesday night.

VIDOR, Texas — Multiple fire departments were called to a house fire late Tuesday night.

The house is located on the 400 block of Kennedy Drive in North Vidor.

Sources are saying that everyone in the home has made it out safely, but the fire department is still looking to put out the fire.

Initially, crews were called around 6:30 when a fire started in the house. Tiffany and Paul Miller said they were at a trick-or-treat event in Orange when the fire broke out. Paul said he returned home to find the living room area on fire.

Officials said it took around two hours to get the fire under control.

Around 11:30 officials say the fire rekindled, and the entire house was engulfed in flames before crews were able to battle the blaze a second time.

No cause has been determined yet.
