ORANGE, Texas — A motorcyclist was critically injured after colliding with cars in front of Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center, Sunday afternoon.
Orange Police Department and Orange Fire responded to reports of a motorcycle crash on West Park Avenue in Orange.
A witness told 12News that he was sitting at a Shell gas station when he saw the motorcyclist driving at a high rate of speed.
"I was sitting at the Shell station. I seen him coming from McDonald's area flying, going about over 80," said witness Jordan Cormier.

Cormier says he saw the motorcyclist hit several cars before flying over a truck.
"Then I come down here, I seen him, I seen him hit like four cars," said Cormier. "Supposedly, he flew over the green truck over there. He flew over the green truck, hurt himself pretty bad."
Cormier was able to help the motorcyclist after his bike caught on fire.
"After he wrecked, the bike went tumbling, caught on fire," he said. "I put the fire out and then I had to go render aid until the EMS got here."
The man was critically injured in the collision. He was treated by Acadian medics and transported to a hospital.
"Legs broke for sure," said Cormier.
