BEAUMONT, Texas — More than 1000 residents and businesses in the south end of Beaumont have been without power since early Wednesday morning.
An Entergy spokesperson has told 12News that they are still working to track down the cause but that issue has been repaired and crews should be turning power on soon.
Power has been out in the area of Fourth Street and Cardinal Drive since around 2:30 a.m.
Early Wednesday morning Entergy's outage map reported that power was out to more than 1800 customers.
By just before 7 a.m. the number of customers affected had dropped to about 1000 with an estimated restoral time of 7 a.m.
The restoral time was bumped to 8 a.m. just after that.
