A boater is still missing after their disappearance was reported Sunday evening.
The boater was reported missing near Lake Sam Rayburn in Angelina County, and is still missing as of 8:44 a.m. Monday, May 13, Jasper County Game Warden Justin Eddins said.
Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens responded to the Black Forest area at Lake Sam Rayburn near a public boat ramp on Recreational Road 255 after the boater was first reported missing, Angelina County Game Warden Erick Collins said.
They found a fishing boat but no operator, Collins said.
More information in the case is expected to be released later today.
