Man killed in one-vehicle crash in Orange

Dallas Adams, 72, failed to turn a curve safely and traveled into a side skid, causing the pickup to overturn.

ORANGE, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers are investigating a fatal crash in Orange.

Dallas Adams, 72, was pronounced deceased on scene by Justice of the Peace Chad Jenkins, according to a news release.

The accident happened on Farm-to-Market Road 1130, near Colony Drive at 4:20 p.m. on  Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Troopers say a 2003 Chevrolet pickup was traveling north and the driver failed to turn a curve safely. This forced the vehicle into a side skid which caused the pickup to overturn, according to the release.

This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
