Man in custody after Orange Police, other agencies execute search warrant on Wednesday

Man placed under arrest for felony possession of a controlled substance

ORANGE, Texas — A man is now in custody after the Orange Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant on Wednesday in Orange.

Orange narcotics officers with the assistance of the West Orange Police Department and Orange County precinct one and two constables executed the search warrant in the 300 block of Knox Ave.

An investigation into the illegal distribution of crack cocaine in Orange took place prior to the search warrant, police say. 

Over 50 grams of crack cocaine and money was located and seized by police.

Dennis Bowie, 40, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance.
