BEAUMONT, Texas — Need an extra reason to donate blood?
LifeShare Blood Center located at 4305 Laurel Avenue in Beaumont is boosting efforts to get more donors through the door.

Donations typically "drop off" around the holidays even as the need for blood surges.
That's why LifeShare is offering some extra incentive.
As a token of appreciation, donors will receive a $10 Walmart gift card and a special shirt.
This offer is valid at all LifeShare donor centers and mobile drives through Wednesday January 3, 2024.
"We need all blood types, especially OH negative and be negative, we're really in need of those two. But any donor that comes we would be so happy to receive their blood donation," Annette Harmon Edwards, LifeShare account manager said.
For those interested in making a donation, you can schedule an appointment online or simply "walk in" to their Beaumont location.
