BEAUMONT, Texas — Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Naomi Showers Doyle is inviting everyone to participate in the family day community celebration at Rogers Park.
The event will take place on August 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is located at 1455 Dowlen Rd.
"Very excited to be bring our Precinct 1 Family Day to the community before school starts," said Justice of the Peace Doyle on a social media post.
There will be lots of games, prizes, food, music, venders and giveaways just in time for the start of the new school year. The event will also include bouncy houses for kids.
"Don’t miss out on an opportunity to have some family fun with Precinct 1," said Judge Doyle in a social media update. "This event was created to bring our community together to celebrate unity and the start of the school year with some good old fashion family fun."
Community members will be able to arrive early to receive tickets for free food and a free snow cone.
Judge Doyle urges participants to be prepared for the heat.
