JEFFERSON COUNTY, Texas — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is sending an alert out to residents who may be calling their dispatch direct phone lines.
As of 7:48 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2024, dispatch direct phone lines are back up after being down for about an hour.
During this time, 911 was still operational.
