JEFFERSON COUNTY, Texas — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teen.
Charleigh Carter, 15, also known as Shay Carter, was last seen on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024 around 4 p.m. leaving a home on Yorkshire Dr. in West Jefferson County.
It is unknown who picked her up, according to a news release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Carter is described as around 5 feet 8 inches tall and around 200 pounds.
She has green eyes and dark curly hair with red tips. She often wears thick curly eyelashes and has a tattoo on her right forearm.
Carter was last seen wearing jeans, a white t-shirt and a tan hoodie.
