JASPER COUNTY, Texas — The Jasper County Tax Assessor/Collector of 20 years Bobby Biscamp passed away at 73-years-old on February 2, 2024.
Biscamp passed away surrounded by his family at Harbor Hospice in Jasper.
Biscamp was employed by Jasper County as the Tax Assessor/Collector for over 20 years. He was a long time Burkeville and Jasper resident and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
He enjoyed watching old western movies, particularly Gunsmoke, and one of his favorite TV shows, Andy Griffith, according to his obituary.
Biscamp loved spending time with the Golden Heirs at Beech Grove Baptist Church and playing Forty Two.
A celebration of Biscamp's life will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Beech Grove Baptist Church. A visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. will take place before the service.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. at Ford Cemetery in Newton.
