BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont's Sam's Club location is set to reopen on Friday after Imelda flooded the store.
Doors open at 7 a.m. for plus members, and at 10 a.m. for members.
From a Sam's Club news release:
Sam’s Club will reopen its Beaumont location Friday morning after the club closed last month due to historic flooding and resulting damage. The club, which originally opened in 1985, underwent clean-up and renovations during the closure over the past few weeks.
“We are so thankful all of our associates remained safe through the storm. Everyone is back to work and excited to do what we do best – serve our members in the Beaumont community,” said Jordan Smith, Sam’s Club Manager.
Members will enjoy these features:
§ Expanded Club Pickup (opening Monday) - We’ve expanded everyone’s favorite convenience option in the club. Sam’s Club members who place pickup orders through SamsClub.com or the Sam’s Club app can pick up their orders the same day. Same day orders can be picked up within four hours (often times less). Items available for Same Day Pickup include groceries, paper goods, electronics and even alcohol, to name a few.
§ New Membership Desk – Signing up to become a member is quicker than ever with the express membership process. Stop by the new membership desk area to sign up and begin shopping in under two minutes. Memberships start at $45 for club and are $100 for Plus.
§ Members can also take advantage of Scan & Go on the Sam’s Club app. This feature allows members to use their smartphone to completely bypass the checkout lane. You simply scan items as you put them in your cart, then checkout from anywhere in the club.
Note: Freezer, cooler, and some other items will continue to be stocked over the course of the next week.
