HOUSTON — A man charged with sexually assaulting three women is in jail and Houston police believe there may be other victims.
In a news conference, HPD investigators said Uffot Williams, 31, met his victims on a dating app and may have drugged them before sexually assaulting them.
They said all three women told similar stories about their encounters with Williams that happened between October 2021 and January 2022.
“Meeting online, taking them out to the same location, them waking up naked and he’s nowhere to be found," Romona Chapa with HPD's Adult Sex Crimes Unit said. "Each victim recalls becoming incapacitated after consuming alcoholic beverages brought to them by Mr. Williams."
Two of the three victims agreed to toxicology tests that showed one or more drugs in their systems, according to investigators.
Williams' DNA profile showed up in all three cases, HPD said.
The women were taken to bars along the Richmond and Westheimer strips and two ended up at the Crystal Inn on South Main St. That's where they woke up naked from the waist down.
Chapa said Williams admitted he was "intimate" with two of the women. Police are urging any other possible victims to come forward.
"If you are scared, we are here to serve and protect. Here in our unit, we start by believing. So, it doesn't matter if you don't have labs done, haven't went to the hospital, we wanna hear your story," Chapa said.
Anyone who might have had contact with Williams or has more information in these cases is urged to contact the HPD Adult Sex Crimes Unit at 713-308-1100 or our Victim Services Division at 713-308-0080.
Williams' bond was set at $75,000 for each case.
