GROVES, Texas — A body of a deceased elderly woman was found after a Groves house caught on fire.
A little after 3 p.m. on November 24, 2023 a house on Madison Avenue went up in flames, according to Groves Fire Department Investigator H. Grove.
Groves Fire Department, Port Neches Fire Department and Nederland Fire Department all responded to the fire along with Acadian Ambulance, Grove told 12News.
Heavy smoke and flames was seen on the porch area and west side of the house, according to Grove.
After searching the house one deceased elderly woman person found.
