BEAUMONT, Texas — The Washington Blvd. exit ramp in the 1800 block of Interstate 10 westbound and the service road in the 1800 block of Intestate 10 are closed following a multi-vehicle wreck Tuesday.
The ramp and service road will be closed for several hours for hazmat cleanup and repairs according to Beaumont police.
This is service road between College St. and Washington Blvd. in front of Lupe Tortilla and Outback Steakhouse.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the wreck, including a semi-truck, a FedEx truck and three other vehicles.
The wreck caused major traffic backups for drivers.
Beaumont Police Officer Carol Riley tells 12News there were injuries, but they weren't life-threatening. It is unknown how many people were injured.
