BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont firefighters are dealing with a hazardous spill at a Beaumont truck stop.
Firefighters have been at the Petro Travel Center at Walden Rd. and Interstate 10 dealing with some kind of hazardous material spill since about noon time.
Beaumont Police are now asking that people avoid the area around the truck stop.
A spill of "hazardous pellets" were found and firefighters do not know yet know exactly what they are or where they came from, according to Beaumont Fire Chief Earl White.
