BEAUMONT, Texas — A Beaumont thrift store has extended it's working hours and launched a flexible program for volunteers for the month of November.

Harvest House is a community-driven organization who uses their proceeds from their store, "Catch My Thrift," to go towards the fight to end child sex trafficking in Southeast Texas.

The thrift store's  extended hours are from Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and located at 2406 Calder Avenue in Beaumont.

Catch My Thrift Store Manager Jennifer Cha Rach said expanding thrift store hours aim to make it more convenient for the community to shop, donate, and support our mission, to end child sex trafficking in Southeast Texas.

"These extended hours are designed to provide greater accessibility for shoppers and donors, accommodating a wider range of schedules," she said.

The organization launched a 'Come-and-Go' volunteer opportunity at their thrift store.

Harvest House Volunteer Coordinator Chelsie Tsan said the November initiative at the store allows them to deepen their connections with the community and empower individuals to make a positive impact in their Southeast Texas community.

"Every Saturday in November, we invite community members to join us in helping with our day to day thrift store activities. This includes sorting through new donations, pricing and inventory, and much more. Our team will be on hand to guide volunteers through these various tasks and ensure a rewarding experience for everyone involved," she said.
