According to the GoFundMe, a grandmother, grandfather, uncle and cousin were all asleep when the fire broke out and and they did not make it out of the burning home.

KPLC7 News reports that at around 4 a.m. on November 17, the Sulphur Fire Department responded to a call for a mobile home fire located in the 800 block of Brandi St.

When firefighters arrived the home was reportedly already completely engulfed in flames.

The firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the fire, but sadly it was too late for the four victims inside the home who were later found dead, KPL7 reports.

The official identification and cause of death are pending with the Coroner’s Office, the victim’s identities will not be released until the corners office make the official identification and determines cause of death.

Investigators at the Sulphur Fire Department think that the fire potentially started in or around the utility room, according to KPLC7.

They report that while the exact cause remains undetermined at this time, deputies cannot rule out potential electrical issues, unsafe heating practices or improperly discarded smoking materials.
