Gavin DeGraw announced as performer for CHRISTUS Foundation Gala

DeGraw burst onto the scene in 2003 with his platinum-certified full-length album, Chariot, which included the hit single "I Don't Want To Be".

BEAUMONT, Texas — CHRISTUS Southeast Texas has announced that a GRAMMY award nominated multiplatinum artist is performing at the annual Foundation Gala in April 2025.

Gavin DeGraw will take the stage on April 5 at the Beaumont Civic Center for the 42nd Annual CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Foundation Gala.

DeGraw is a singer-songwriter who burst onto the scene in 2003 with his platinum-certified full-length album, Chariot, which included the hit single "I Don't Want To Be".

Other hits of his include "In Love With A Girl", "Not Over You" and the GRAMMY nominated song "We Both Know".

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Gavin DeGraw to this year’s CHRISTUS Gala,” said Teri Hawthorne, foundation executive director. “His electrifying presence and powerhouse performance will make this a night to remember, adding yet another unforgettable moment to our Gala's incredible legacy.”

The CHRISTUS Gala, is a black-tie benefit organized by the CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Foundation. Attendees can expect an evening of entertainment, beginning with cocktails and conversation, followed by a gourmet meal and culminating in an intimate performance by the charismatic Gavin DeGraw.

The funds raised through the gala support critical lifesaving equipment and services at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System facilities. 

Past gala acts have featured many successful artists including Keith Urban, James Taylor, Reba McEntire, Don Henley, Wynonna Judd and The Goo Goo Dolls.
