Mike Anderson still has many questions about what led to his son, Nathaniel Anderson’s, 21, death after human remains found in a shallow grave in October, were finally identified as his son.
“There is more information that we don’t know than what we know,” said Anderson
Nathan was reported missing in June of last year after his parent, thinking he was in New York, hadn’t heard from him in weeks.
“We had no reason to believe he wasn’t in New York,” said Anderson.
Mike describes his son as smart and talkative, and a great debater. Nathaniel was a part of the debate team at Lamar State College Orange. And even though Nathaniel was living with Asperger’s, his father says he was always surrounded by friends.
Nathan had lots of friends, he had people at our home all the time,” said Anderson.
While detectives continue to gather information about this case, Anderson says he will try to stay strong despite the uncertainty.
“I think that carrying around hard feelings, is like a cancer,” said Anderson. “It will eat you alive.”
