ExxonMobil Beaumont celebrates 50th anniversary of Mobil 1

ExxonMobil in Beaumont made contributions to the economic, social landscape of Southeast Texas since its beginnings during the Spindletop oil boom.

BEAUMONT, Texas — ExxonMobil Beaumont celebrated the 50th anniversary of Mobil 1™ at their Beaumont Complex Thursday afternoon. 

The anniversary is a milestone due to being the world's largest producer of Mobil 1™, according to an ExxonMobil Beaumont representative. 

ExxonMobil Beaumont was built along the banks of the Neches River in 1903 and its refining facilities have grown into an integrated petrochemical complex that supports the energy needs of our nation and the world, according to a release on the ExxonMobil Beaumont website.

ExxonMobil in Beaumont made contributions to the economic and social landscape of Southeast Texas since its beginnings during the Spindletop oil boom.
