BEAUMONT, Texas — An elderly man was seriously hurt after being struck by a cara while riding a bicyle in Port Arthur.
Port Arthur Police officers responded to a a report of a major wreck just befroe 9:30 p.m. Sunday night and found that a 70-yeara-old man riding a bicycle had been struck by a vehicle according to a news release from the Port Arthur Police Department.
The man, who was struck in the 2600 block of Memorial Blvd., was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital where he was last listed as being in critical condition the release said.

The incident is being invevsitgted by the police department's criminal investigations division the release said.
