ORANGE, Texas — Firefighters in the City of Orange will be collecting toys for their 8th annual Christmas toy drive for the next three weeks.
The fire department's annual "Fill the Fire Truck Campaign" will run from Monday, Mov. 20, 2023 through Dec. 11, 2023 according to a news release from the City of Orange Fire Department.
Individuals, families and groups or businesses are invited to help make a difference this holiday season. Those donating can even request a tour of the Central Fire Station while dropping off donations by calling ahead to make an appointment according to the release.
The "Fill the Fire Truck" campaign supports families in need in the Orange community and firefighters will work with local charities to distribute the gifts where they're most needed.
The fire department is accepting donations of new and unwrapped toys from Monday, November 20, through Monday, December 11, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the following three fire stations within the City of Orange...
- Central Fire Station – 501 N. 7th St.
- Fire Station #2 – 1901 Allie Payne Rd.
- Fire Station #3 – 1717 MLK Dr.
