NEDERLAND, Texas — A 49-year-old man has been charged in connection with a disturbance that led to shots being fired Sunday afternoon at a Nederland church pumpkin patch.
Jeremy Lane Pitman, 49, is being held in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on two felony charges in connection with the disturbance according to Nederland Police Chief Gary Porter.
Pitman has been charged with attempted aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon according to jail records. His bond on each charge is set at $50,000 for a total bond amount of $100,000.
