PORT ARTHUR, Texas — The Dillard's inside Port Arthur Central Mall was evacuated Tuesday due to what police said was a "possible gas leak."
Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso told 12News the call regarding the leak came in around 6 p.m. Fire crews responded to the scene after receiving a call about "natural gas odors" inside Dillard's.
Emergency personnel told a 12News crew at the scene that some people complained about have respiratory issues.
Nothing was detected in or outside the building.
