LUMBERTON, Texas — No major injuries were reported Wednesday morning after a car rear-ended a Lumberton ISD school bus.
Lumberton Police are investigating after a car struck the rear of the bus at about 6:25 a.m. Wednesday morning near the intersection of Paradise Dr and southbound U.S. Highway 69.
The bus received very little damage while the car was heavily damaged.
Only three students were on the bus at the time of the accident and none of them or the drivers were taken to a hospital according to Lumberton Police Chief Danny Sullins.
The driver of the car was cited for failure to control speed he said.
