BURKEVILLE, Texas — A 45-year-old man was found dead Tuesday morning after a tree reportedly fell on him while working on his tractor.

Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby said the man was working on his property Monday afternoon along CR 2120 near Highway 63 when the tree suddenly fell on him.
