BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont United High School has won $25,000 to fix up its campus stadium and a chance to win $2 million more to make even more improvements in a contest sponsored by a national wireless phone service provider.

The Beaumont high school was one of 16 schools in the U.S. selected to win $25,000 from T-Mobile and will now compete with the other finalist schools for the $2 million grand prize, according to a news release from the district.
