ORANGE, Texas — A bicyclist is in stable condition after being hit by a train Tuesday morning.
It happened at Cordey Ave. and Bob Hall Road in Orange around 1:20 a.m.
Sgt. Henry with the Orange Police Department tells 12News the victim has what appears to be a fractured femur.
Sgt. Henry says it appears the victim was struck when he tried to cross the tracks as the train was approaching.
The man was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont following the accident to be treated.
