BEAUMONT, Texas — A Beaumont resident is $1 million richer after claiming a winning Texas Lottery scratch ticket.
The prize was won from playing the game Million Dollar Loteria, which offers more than $254 million in total prizes.
The ticket was purchased at Market Ace #4, located at 520 W. Florida Avenue, in Beaumont, according to a news release from the Texas Lottery.
The claimant chose to remain anonymous.
This was the third of eight top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game.
Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.27, including break-even prizes, according to the release.
