North end Beaumont polling place briefly runs out of ballots Tuesday evening

More ballots were able to be delivered to the polling place and everyone was able to cast their vote.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Some voters in Beaumont's north end ran into an issue while trying to vote Tuesday evening when their polling place ran out of ballots.

Voters at the polling place at the John Paul Davis Community center had to wait about 15 minutes to for more ballots to be delivered after the ballots ran out according to Jefferson County Clerk Roxanne Acosta-Hellberg.

Once the ballots arrived at the polling place and everyone was able to cast their vote, according to Acosta-Hellberg.

The ballots ran out around 6:30 p.m. according to a caller to 12News.
