Beaumont police searching for woman who went missing after walking away from group home

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont police are asking for help with locating a woman who went missing after walking away from her group home on Sunday. 

Vickie Blankenship, 54, was last seen leaving her group home located in the 2300 block of Cousins St. on August 18, around 3:30 p.m.

Police say Blankenship was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, gray shorts and green Crocs. 

She is described as a white female, 5'2", 240 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.  

She is in need of medication and may be confused.  

The photo is a driver license photo of Blankenship taken in 2019.
