BEAUMONT, Texas — For any true crime viewers, the Beaumont Police Department will be featured on season 7, episode 7 of Cold Justice tonight at 7.
Beaumont Police Department's episode of Cold Justice will investigate the disappearance of Kimberly Langwell, a popular 34-year-old mother who went missing in 1999.
Langwell was last seen nearly 25 years ago in July of 1999. Her car was found abandoned in the parking lot of a Phelan Shopping Center on Dowlen Road. Her keys and purse were missing, but her cell phone was found inside the car.
Members of the America's Missing, Abducted and Lost Person's Ministry of Beaumont held a prayer vigil for Langwell back in 2014 at the Market Basket parking lot on the corner of Phelan Boulevard and 23rd Street.
The goal of the prayer vigil was to bring awareness to the disappearance of Kimberly Langwell and other missing people from Southeast Texas.
Langwell was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes. She made no attempt to contact her then 15-year-old daughter since her disappearance, which those who knew her said was highly unusual, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety missing persons post.
If you have any information about Langwell's disappearance call the Beaumont Police Department at 409-832-1234.
