BEAUMONT, Texas — The City of Beaumont will host its annual Fourth of July celebration starting at 5 p.m. on July 4 at the Downtown Event Centre and Lake.
Guests will be able to enjoy a fascinating fireworks show and food trucks from around the city.
The event will be located at 700 Crockett Street in Downtown, Beaumont.
There will be live entertainment from artist Zac Wilkerson and local artists including Southeast Texas' acoustic duo Curse and the Cure, So Hype DJs and Flava Band, for the crowd to enjoy.
In addition to the celebration on the grounds of the Event Centre, a special patriotic performance by the Symphony of Southeast Texas will take place at the Julie Rogers Theatre at 8 p.m., according to a release from the city.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. and the fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m. This will be the largest fireworks show in Southeast Texas towards the Neches River.
Admission to the Fourth of July event and performances will be free to all. Food, beverages, and treats will be available for purchase.
Be sure to bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers. Coolers are subject to search prior to entry.
The city will not allow residents to bring alcohol, tents or pets to the event.
Barbecue pits and other cooking equipment are not allowed in the event grounds unless the individual is an approved and pre-permitted vendor, according to a release from the city. All vendors and booths must be pre-registered to participate in the event
Free parking will be available throughout downtown for guests.
