BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont firefighters are battling a fully involved house fire on Monday afternoon.
The fire is located at the 2400 block of Avenue B and Corley Avenue in Beaumont.
The call came in just before 3 p.m., according to Beaumont Fire Investigator Chance Abercrombie.
When firefighters arrived they found a two-story house on fire that was already fully involved.
The house appears to be vacant at this time, according to Abercrombie.
While firefighters battled the fire, a powerline that was feeding the house fell on a fire truck and created a hazard.
There are no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Firefighters are keeping people from getting too close to the scene.
Abercrombie tells 12News that the fire department will review videos of the fire and what led up to it, that were sent to them by neighbors.
This is a developing story. We will update with more if and when we receive more confirmed information.
