BEAUMONT, Texas — A driver fled the scene after a car backed into a washateria near the intersection of Highland and E. Virginia.
Fire officials confirmed the crash did cause a gas leak, but it has since been capped off.
Highland Ave. is blocked off from E. Virginia to Campus St.
No one was injured according to officials on scene.
