PORT ARTHUR — The Sears in Port Arthur's Central Mall is included on a new list of stores slated to close their doors in the company's bankruptcy.
The Sears in Central Mall along with the 80 other stores is expected to close by late March 2019.
The 80 stores whose closures were announced today are in addition to the 40 stores announced Nov. 8 to close by February 2019. 142 stores, including nine in Texas, were initially scheduled to close by the end of 2018, announced Oct. 15.
The Beaumont location in Parkdale Mall is not on this list.
