BEAUMONT, Texas — A motorcyclist died after colliding with a commercial truck on Interstate 10 in Beaumont late Friday night.
Just before midnight, Beaumont police officers responded to a crash on I-10 East near 11th St. after receiving reports that a motorcyclist had collided with a truck.
According to Beaumont Police Department spokesperson Haley Morrow, preliminary investigations indicate that the man was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the motorcycle and collided with the rear of a commercial truck.
Bradley Arnold, 30, of Kirbyville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
