3-year-old girl found wandering near Groves intersection early Monday morning, CPS investigating

The child was unharmed when she was seen around 5 a.m.

GROVES, Texas — Child Protective Services is investigating after they say a 3-year-old child was found near Taft Avenue and Procter Street early Monday morning in Groves. 

The girl wasn't hurt according to CPS spokesperson Shari Pulliam. 

A woman found the girl around 5 a.m. and called Groves Police Department. 

The girl was taken back to her mother, and Pulliam said CPS is investigating.
