LUMBERTON, Texas — If you're looking for some help getting your child into reading then don't miss Tia's Tales coming up at several Southeast Texas libraries.
Daybreak Anchor Tia Johnson will be reading to kids at several Southeast Texas public libraries. On Saturday, Nov. 2, she will read to kids at the Lumberton Public Library.
Johnson will spend an hour reading two books and leading the kids in an art project.
"Reading to kids plants seeds of imagination and curiosity that grow into a lifelong love of learning," Johnson said.
The reading event will be held on Saturdays at different branches of the Beaumont library from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Each event is free, welcome to all ages and no pre-registration is needed.
