BEAUMONT, Texas — A plant construction firm is now hiring workers for a project expected to last the next two years.
KBR said they are looking for experienced laborers to work about 50 hours a week. The company was initially awarded the project at the ExxonMobil in Beaumont back in February.

KBR provides various professional services for projects in both the government and hydrocarbon sectors, employing over 31,000 people worldwide in more than 80 countries, according to the company's website.
In 2006, KBR separated from Halliburton and became a separate stock in the New York Stock Exchange. The company holds operations in 40 countries.
