Henry's Place, a Beaumont day center for the city's homeless at the "Some Other Place" social services agency, is expanding their hours to help the needy beat the heat.
Henry's Place, located at McFaddin Avenue and Forrest Street, will now be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. Until 11 a.m., and will reopen from 12:30 p.m. Until 4 p.m. It will close their doors at 3 p.m. on Fridays.
This news comes after the Salvation Army announced that it was closing its cooling station for Beaumont's Homeless community.
