HARDIN COUNTY, Texas — A Silsbee man has been arrested and charged with two felony possession charges after a narcotics investigation by the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, the Lumberton Police Department and the Texas Highway Patrol K9 Unit.
Herbert Williams, 33, was arrested on March 21 near Lumberton High School on Highway 69 according to a Hardin County Sheriff's Office news release.
Williams is charged with two counts of felony possession of methamphetamine, one of which is within a 'Drug-Free Zone,' after being accused of having 50 grams of meth according to the release.
After his arrest, he led officer to a location off Old Beaumont Highway south of Silsbee, where deputies found another 28 grams according to the release.
He has since bonded out of the Hardin County Jail after posting bonds totaling $20,000 according to the release.
