A former Vidor Independent School District teacher has been indicted on a charge of Improper Relationship between Educator and Student.
The one-count indictment against Sondra N. Reed was announced this week by the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
Ms. Reed is accused of having an improper sexual relationship with a student who was enrolled at Vidor High School.
Ms. Reed turned herself into authorities at the Jefferson County Jail and was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
The case has been assigned to the 128th District Court.
