4th annual 'Orangetober' Festival kicks off today at Riverside Pavilion

The Pumpkin Village will feature more than 10,000 pumpkins and gourds along with photo opportunities.

ORANGE, Texas — The City of Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau will host it's 4th Annual Orangetober Festival starting today.

This event will be held October 4-6 at the Riverside Pavilion, located at 708 Simmons Dr. in Orange.

The Orangetober Festival will have a variety of events and activities for all to enjoy. The Pumpkin Village will feature more than 10,000 pumpkins and there will be opportunities to take photos.

Visitors can enjoy tours of the Pumpkin Village, a vendor market, gumbo cook-offs, food vendors, pumpkin pie eating contests, cornhole tournaments, a movie night featuring "Coco," the Big Pumpkin Run 5k and live entertainment on the Riverside Pavilion stage by PaperChase, Drew Parker, and headliner Wade Bowen.

To close out the weekend, there will be a Pumpkin Scramble, where those who attend are encouraged to bring pumpkins home for free.

Admission and parking for this event, including the live concerts will be free. 

Dogs, pets and coolers will not be allowed, but chairs are welcome and encouraged.
