BISD has awarded Dr. John Frossard the position of Superintendent. Both sides signed the contract Wednesday night.
Under terms of the agreement, Frossard -- who most recently served as superintendent in Wichita Falls -- will be paid $249,000 annually for his four-year term.
That is higher than the salary for BISD's ousted former leader, Dr. Timothy Chargois.
Frossard is expected to start his job next week.
