Woman told Orange Police stranger broke in through window, stabbed her in her home

A woman told Orange Police a stranger broke into her home through a window, but she did not know who they were.

ORANGE, Texas — Orange Police is investigating a reported stabbing at a home in the 3900 block of FM 1130.

Orange Police Department Capt. Robert Enmon told 12News a woman told police that a stranger broke into her home through a window. She said they had a struggle, during which she received a non-life-threatening injury. She told police she did not know who the person was.

Captain Enmon said the officers who went to the scene “found some concern about the accuracy of her description” of the events. 

He said the case remains under investigation and asked if anyone from the neighborhood who may have video evidence to please call the police department.
