Police in Orange arrest, charge woman for hitting her ex with a vehicle

Police say they learned that during the disturbance she had intentionally struck her ex with a vehicle.

BEAUMONT, Texas — City of Orange Police have arrested a 28-year-old woman after they she hit her ex with a vehicle earlier this week.

Aliah Roberts, 28, was arrested and charged by police with aggravated assault for allegedly hitting her ex with a vehicle according to police.

Police were sent to the 60 block of Farragut Ave just before 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, for a reported disturbance between a man and a woman.

When officers arrived they learned that Roberts and the man had been in a dating and got into a disturbance that escalated into a fight according to police.

Police also say they learned that during the disturbance Roberts had intentionally struck the man with a vehicle.

She was arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail where she is being held on the charge.

Her bond has been set at $75,000.

Police did not mention if the man was injured.

The case is now being investigated Criminal Investigation Division.
